DecoLuxe Quilt Pattern

Inspired by the glamour of 1920s Art Deco, DecoLuxe turns simple strip sets into a dazzling stained-glass design. Long faceted hexagons glow between a crisp lattice, and every intersection forms a jewel-like diamond. It looks intricate, but it’s built from just one block.

The cover quilt is shown in rich plum, lavender, deep emerald and black. For a completely different look, make it in aqua, black and white, where the lattice disappears and the quilt becomes bold black columns with floating aqua diamonds. Cutting and yardage for both colorways are included, plus a Color Inspiration page with more ideas.

• Skill level: Confident Beginner
• Three sizes: Crib 45" x 51", Lap 63" x 68", Bed 81" x 102"
• One block (5" x 17½" unfinished), no half blocks and no borders
• Uses four fabrics, or as many as you like with the row-by-row color option
• Strip set and snowball construction with clear, illustrated step-by-step instructions
• Includes layout diagrams for every size, cutting charts, backing diagrams and full fabric requirements

• Crib: A 1⅛ yds, B 1⅛ yds, C ⅞ yd, D ⅝ yd
• Lap: A 2⅛ yds, B 2⅛ yds, C 1¾ yds, D 1 yd
• Bed: A 4 yds, B 4 yds, C 3¼ yds, D 2 yds
